Job Description:
The Global Talent Department is focused on setting policies and programs to attract and develop our employees, providing value-added and innovative people management solutions to the business and employees’ needs. Our mission is to help each employee achieve their potential.
Inside the Talent Department, the Global L&D Area is searching for a Global Development Manager to accomplish the following functions:
Main functions
- Promote and lead our University by Ferrovial- Onsite Campus- and its hybrid and face to face development programs at a global scope.
- Co-design and ensure a best-in-class global career plan in collaboration with our Business Units and Talent Management team.
- Design and update the current global development programs portfolio according to our business strategy, client needs, leadership model and best innovative practices in a global market.
- Promote and spread our leadership model, planning & designing best ways to do it through different development initiatives.
- Manage relations at a high level with different global stakeholders.
- Manage and develop the team in charge, ensuring they grow accordingly to their moment of career and aspirations and facilitating autonomy, accountability and transversal opportunities.
- Define and implement global policies, procedures and projects related to the Global L&D area.
- Analyze development needs in the Organization and advise Business Unit’s HR teams to ensure synergies and possible transversal global solutions.
- Design, facilitate and manage development initiatives using different channels and methodologies (face to face, online, blended learning, gamification, collaborative tools, conferences, …), that best fit with specific needs, target audiences, regions, functions, etc.
- Liaise and negotiate with external learning & development providers globally, ensuring excellence, international practices and continuous improvement.
- Boost innovation and continuous improvement in L&D function in alignment with global trends, best practices in market and with internal stakeholders needs.
- Ensure reporting & metrics for improving effectiveness, applicability and greater impact of the Global L&D function.
Requirements
- University Degree.
- Master’s degree in HR or MBA.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in multinational companies. US market knowledge is valuable.
- Experience in training programs design and facilitation.
- Prior background as consultant is valuable.
- Very Fluent English (C1 minimum)
- Skills: high planning & organization skills, high interpersonal skills, executive presence, stakeholders’ management, people management, orientation to process and results, decision-making and problem solving, creativity & innovation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
