We're looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team
Location: Can be based out of either Hatherleigh or Exeter- mixture of home & office working
Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water framework to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Commercial Assistant, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in processing subcontractor payments in line with the commercial team's assessments ensuring suppliers are paid the correct amount and on time.
Your day to day will include:
- Certifying payments to subcontractors and make sure all supporting documents are filed to enable payment
- Maintain records of schemes being undertaken (timesheets, materials and plant orders) to enable costs to be checked prior to invoicing
- Raising cost reports and invoicing
What are we looking for?
This role of Commercial Assistant is great for you if you hold:
- Good IT skills, full training will be provided on systems used
- Excellent communications skills, particularly with dealing with client queries
