- Mission
- Reporting to the Director of the Major Projects and Operations Area, the Head of Risk and Project Controls will be responsible for leading and managing risks and project controls for Ferrovial Construction. Their main mission will be to ensure the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks, as well as the implementation and supervision of effective controls to guarantee the success of large-scale projects.
- Functions
- Evaluate opportunities and make Go/No Go decisions during the bidding phase.
- Review documentation for indicative and unsolicited proposals.
- Participate in bid kick-off meetings and review strategies and timelines.
- Evaluate economic offers and select suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct post-mortem analysis and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Define and review risk and opportunity (R&O) matrices and contingencies.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of cross-functional project control processes.
- Perform monthly and quarterly closures, reviewing new entries in the R&O matrices.
- Analyze budget deviations and review contract status tracking.
- Consolidate and review progress and deviations against the master plan.

- Previous experience leading large-scale project.
